I don’t even know where to start. This is the best AirBnb stay we have had as a family. The house was so well equipped with anything we may need during our stay and loads of lovely toys for the children too. Harriet was extremely helpful and communicative. There were a few things I’d like to mention as they were a big deal for us - very comfy sofas, very comfy beds and nice bedding with lots of extra blankets and pillows. Harriet provided a travel cot, bed guard and corner protectors for us too knowing we have young children which was very thoughtful of her. Extremely well equipped kitchen which is great when staying in to cook for small people. Fabulous childrens toys and books to keep the small ones entertained. Lovely garden to sit out in the evenings. The record player was a lovely added extra as well, we enjoyed having a dance around to some Motown classics in the huge living room. I just can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back next summer for sure! Thank you again!- Amber

We stayed at the Tabernacle for 3 nights. I can only say the place is fantastic. Super quirky, amazing decor, unusual rooms - the mezzanine bedrooms certainly a talking point. Overall a great conversion of a unique building, to give a homely, and comfortable space.
The additional surprise was the outdoor space. Outdoor dining (sunny breakfast spot), BBQ, sunbathing, and a great secluded garden.
We’ll definitely be booking a return visit.

Amazing house with everything you need and lots more. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise too. As the weather was rainy and we stayed in in the evenings we amused ourselves with the games, Wii and huge selection of records. We all slept like logs due to the amazing fabulous mattresses, the quietness and gorgeous linen. If you fancy a bubble bath this is the perfect location too 🛀. Our family meals made it easy as we had everything we needed in the homely fitted and well equipped kitchen. We had a fabulous bonding family weekend and that’s also thanks to the amazing “mission” 🥰 definitely highly recommend this amazing place and will 100% return 🥰🥰 really felt home from home 🏡

Wow - what a magical place. Genuinely lovely and so much fun. There's a family and dog friendly pub 2 mins walk away. The world's oldest adventure park a minutes drive away, and a brilliant beach for fossil hunting five mins drive away + so much more. Most importantly though, being in the property is just brilliant. My kids didn't bother with the TV once, even though there is a lovely TV there with all the Chanel's you'd want. Instead, they played many of the board games on offer when they weren't playing table football or reading some of the lovely books. The place is beautiful and felt like an adventure for all. I'd book again in a heartbeat and will be recommending to anyone looking for a brilliant break.

Firstly, Harriet was a joy to communicate with, always punctual, and very helpful, Second, The Mission, WOW just WOW, we were a party of 8 "grown ups" and didn't put the Tv on once, the house is a haven of things to do, we played all the retro games, that was a blast from the past ! My daughter taught herself how to play a couple of tunes on the piano, not to mention the "boys" were in their element with the records, the house has everything you could possibly want, and you never get bored of just looking at your surroundings, clean and extremely spacious, have been to the IOW many times over the years, and always loved it, but this place was the cherry on top x

I just can’t say enough. Everything was just perfect. I found it to be comfortable, clean and well equipped.
So tastefully done. Lots of space and so many things to look at and admire.
Every time I thought “oh I could do with” I found it!
This place has honestly given us the most special family memories and we will be forever grateful for this wonderful space.
The Christmas decorations were delightful.
The whole experience was magical.
Forever grateful.
Thank you The Mission 🙏 😁❤️

the WONDERFUL Isle of Wight

The Island is known as a place where the pressures of the 21st century slip away as you board the ferry and relax, heading towards a slower, yet creative way of life. Half of the Island is nationally recognised as an Isle of Wight National Landscape (formerly known as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and a great proportion of its coast is designated as Heritage Coast. See what makes the Isle of Wight so special and understand more about our biosphere status…

More than half the Isle of Wight has been designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, and there are 65 miles of coastline to explore. Along the more beautiful south coast there's has a beach to suit everyone: swimming at Sandown, surfing off Compton Bay, and family fun at Ventnor.
